What is a Will?
A Will is the legal document that describes how you wish your assets to be distributed upon your death. A Will also allows you to choose an Executor who will be responsible for making sure your wishes are met.
Many people die without a Will. The Public Trustee actively encourages every West Australian over the age of 18 to have a current and valid will.
You can start making your Will using our Will Application Form. The information will be used by one of our Wills Officers to create your Will. After you submit the form a Wills Officer will contact you to confirm the information provided and to answer any questions you may have. You can view our Will drafting fees in our Your Last Will and Testament brochure.
