Help making your Will
The Public Trustee has built its reputation as experts in Will making and deceased estate administration and has over 67 years of experience. The Public Trustee offers professional Will-drafting and safe-custody services to all Western Australians.
Wills nominating the Public Trustee as Executor
The Public Trustee drafts Wills that nominate the Public Trustee as your Executor. Our expert team of estate managers provide a professional, reliable and impartial service when carrying out the important role of an Executor.
Private Wills
The Public Trustee also drafts Wills for people who nominate someone else, such as a family member or friend, as their Executor.
Our Executor Assist service is also available to help private Executors with certain parts of their role such as obtaining the Grant of Probate.
Our experienced wills officers will explain how Wills should be made, address any issues arising from your wishes and make sure you have a correctly prepared Will tailored to suit your requirements.
We can make a Will for you by appointment at our Perth office. For your convenience, we offer an after hours service one day per month. We also visit Mandurah monthly and have commenced piloting visits to regional towns. If age or illness restricts your mobility, our metropolitan Wills on Wheels Service can take your Will instructions at your home or current location.
Our role as Executor
As Executor, we will administer your estate professionally, impartially and with sympathetic concern for your family and beneficiaries. Charges will be levied against your estate after death and then only if your estate requires formal administration.
Approximately one quarter of all Western Australians choose to nominate the Public Trustee as the independent Executor of their Will. We ensure professionalism and complete impartiality when wishes are carried out and keep your beneficiaries up-to-date with the process of estate management. Thousands of Wills are processed annually and the Public Trustee is dedicated to carrying out every outlined request.
