On 1 July 2009, the Public Trustee moved from a predominately commission-based to a predominately effort-based fee system. This new system was part of the biggest reform of the Public Trustee undertaken since 1941 and was a result of years of feedback from clients, their family, carers and other stakeholders.
Our new fees are fairer for clients as they are predominately based on the services they receive. They also better reflect the work of the Public Trustee.
